Camping in Huesca
Huesca. Historic town situated on the slope of a hill. There he set the crown of Aragon after retake Islam (1096-1118). Today retains many monuments that gave splendor.
You can start a visit for its Gothic cathedral (ss. xiii-xvi), built almost on top of the Old City, on the former site of the mosque . Pedro el Viejo (s. xi) and the altar of the church of S. Lorenzo (s. xvii).
Other points of interest: There are multiple routes and paths that can enter the impressive Pyrenees. If we choose from the capital, to move north into the valley of Tena-by flowing river Gallego and stretches to the French border passes Monrepós the hill (1,260 m, with magnificent views) and reached Biescas 850 m above sea level and where they meet roads leading from Jaca Ordesa and Tena Valley at Serrablo and Huesca. Nearby, in the Ara Valley National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido. And to the north, deep gorges and glacial cirques, the ski resorts of Formigal, Panticosa and the typical villages of Sallent de Gallego, Tramacastilla, Búbal ... Missed is Jaca (820 m), the first capital of the kingdom of Aragon, with its many monuments, among which the cathedral (ss. xi-xii). Is the center of hiking and mountain walks.
Sabiñánigo (800 m), former capital of Serralbo, presents a unique heritage of Romanesque churches and is a good starting point for excursions through the valley of the Gallego.
The Pyrenees contains an unimaginable natural beauty and worth visiting in profusion.
