Albacete. Located in the southeastern corner of the territory of the Community Castilian-La Mancha, the city has the characteristic features of the cities of La Mancha.
Today Albacete is the commercial and industrial center of the province (your cutlery is famous) and knot communications between La Mancha and Levante. Worth to visit is the Archaeological Museum, with many prehistoric, Iberian and Roman. Also his cathedral burnt down during the civil war and partly rebuilt, "the Posada del Rosario (s. xiii) and the fairground (s. xviii).
Other points of interest: Starting from the capital and taking the path of Júcar (N-322), one arrives at Casa-Ibáñez, a picturesque town that has a "classroom of nature", Alcala de Júcar and with its houses climbing up the castle (near the Jucar Hoz). Continuing Alpera path is reached (cave paintings in the "Old Cave") and Almansa (castle and Gothic church, two fifteenth century).
East of Albacete, Chinchilla (fifteenth century castle, Renaissance church , Gothic and Renaissance houses.) In the south of the province, the Sierra de Alcaraz, full of attractions, and the town its name, Alcaraz, with a sober pc. Mayor (here, the building plateresco Hall) and Trinity Church. Other interesting towns are Riópar area, where the river world, the Cueva de los Chorros (vistosísimas waterfalls), Molina (beautiful places), Yeste (Arabic fortress), Ayna (very picturesque, encased in a beautiful gorge that forms World River) and Hellin, city hinge between Valencia and Levante, with its late Gothic church of the Assumption (s. xvi).
