Cuenca. The city is suspended over a gorge on a narrow rocky plateau. The Old Town, isolated from the new city retains its medieval layout with narrow steep streets lined with coats of arms decorated house.
On reaching the city, and from the convent of S. Paul (s. xvi) can observe the impressive Hanging Houses (s. xiv), which houses the Museum of Abstract Art.
