Camping in Lleida
Lleida. The westernmost city of Catalonia. You can start your visit from the pedestrian main street, on the left, the Zuda (the old Moorish fortress). At the top of the city, the old cathedral (ss. xiii-xv) on the site of a mosque. Down to the Old City through the plaza and promenade Cervantres of Aragon is the Romanesque-Gothic church of S. Lorenzo (s. xv) south of the square S. Antonio, the new cathedral (2nd half of the eighteenth century) next to the hospital of St. Mary, Gothic (ss. xv-xvi). Other monuments: City Hall (s. xiv) Paeria palace (s. xiii).
Other points of interest: Eastbound, Mollerusa, Tárrega and Cervera, the capital of La Segarra region and a city full of art: Gothic church of St. Mary (s. xiv), old houses, arcades, museums ... From here, to the northwest, Agrawal, arts and, in the mountains of Montsec, Tremp, and to the north, Pons and in the valley of the Segre, Seo de Urgel, in which the Gothic Quarter is the medieval church set inportante Europe.
north of the province, the Pyrenees, the Aran Valley National Park Aigues Tortes, should not be missed for lovers of nature and winter sports. En route, interesting and picturesque villages. And must-see is in the east, Solsona, brimming with superb nature and monuments.
