Camping in Parque Nacional Sierra Nevada
Sierra Nevada National Park is located in Sierra Nevada, shared between the province of Granada (65 percent of the park), and the Province of Almería (35 percent), both of the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. It extends from the Alpujarras and the Marquessate Lecrín Valley. It was created on May 2, 1952, its territory is characterized by two patterns of precipitation according to the statement of its slopes or hillsides. In this park there are still a good number of endemic species that human actions are in danger of extinction. As the altitude increases, the vegetation has changed significantly. However the main vegetation consists of rainforests and Andean cloud forest. The park visitor recreational alternatives such as climbing its spectacular peaks and hiking, the practice of ecotourism and tour some of the most beautiful villages in the region as Gavidia, El Carrizal, Los Nevados, El Morro and Quine; gaps and emblematic as the Laguna de los Patos and the Santo Cristo.
